Light Duty Certification & Recertification Training – Event Recap April 25–26, 2026 – New England TruckMaster, Plainville, CT The Towing & Recovery Professionals of Connecticut proudly hosted a comprehensive two-day Light Duty Certification and Recertification Training at DeVivo Companies – New England TruckMaster Division in Plainville. This hands-on program brought together towing professionals from across Connecticut for intensive instruction focused on safe, efficient, and compliant light-duty operations.
Participants engaged in a combination of classroom learning and practical, real-world scenarios designed to reinforce proper towing techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols. From vehicle handling and securement to winching techniques and damage prevention, the training emphasized the core skills required for today’s light-duty operators whether completing initial certification or maintaining recertification standards.
